Custom Video Design, Inc. was founded in 1985 by George and Charlotte Kutyba as a business enterprise dedicated to meeting the individual and custom surveillance and CCTV needs of its then small commercial client base. Over the course of the next 15 years, Custom Video Design continued to grow and expand as it became a lead distributor for major manufacturers and suppliers in the surveillance industry, as well as, becoming a manufacturer of its own lines of products. Custom Video Design deals solely with commercial clients, including several well-known property management companies and construction companies, and its geographic service region includes the states of Maryland and Virginia, as well as, the District of Columbia. Custom Video Design also works with numerous out-of-state commercial clients. Sadly in 2000, Custom Video Design’s Co-founder and Vice President, George L. Kutyba, passed away.

Client service, our number one priority, is one-on-one with sales and technical staff and our engineering department dedicated to providing exactly what the client needs, when the client needs it and how the client wants it. Custom Video Design’s surveillance and CCTV product line includes cameras, monitor equipment, digital recording devices, motion detection devices and housings from recognized manufacturers, such as GE Security, Panasonic, LG, and many more, as well as, custom designed equipment manufactured in-house. Custom Video Design’s projects range from the small business owner to the nationally recognized business client with no commercial job too large or too small. Our ability to meet the custom needs of each client while providing individualized customer service and support differentiates us as an industry leader in the surveillance and CCTV field.
